BTOS alum, Theo Lencicki, has performed internationally and across the country on four National Broadway tours including Hairspray, Young Frankenstein, A Chorus Line (Al) and West Side Story (Riff). “Growing up I focused primarily on athletics. It wasn’t until my high school years that I discovered a true passion for the performing arts. Joanne gave me the opportunity to hone my natural dance abilities at BTOS while receiving the training needed to successfully prepare for a professional career in musical theatre. Along with numerous local performance opportunities, being a part of the studio helped me gain confidence in myself both on and off stage and connected me to a community of artists that are now dear friends and colleagues.” Lencicki currently serves as the Artistic Director for the Broadway Education Alliance in New York City and choreographs for the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (commonly known as The Jimmy Awards) on Broadway.
